What companies should know about dawn raids
The expression “dawn raids” refers to unannounced inspections at a company’s premises, aimed at searching for and collecting incriminating evidence of alleged antitrust infringements.
In the current context of increased sanctions for antitrust infringements, companies and their staff members must be prepared to properly handle this type of situation.
Accordingly, in order to help companies deal with antitrust investigations and dawn raids, a dedicated working group within the World Law Group, an international network to which our firm belongs, has conceived and prepared synthetic and harmonized country-by-country guidelines covering 40 jurisdictions around the world.
